Prayer: Talking to and with God

Why is it so hard? Children pray the best prayers, simple and true. As adults we tend to beef them up, make them sound important. The one person I loved to hear pray was my mother-in-law. When she prayed her whole statue changed. She was sincere and sweet and spoke directly to the Heavenly Father. The whole attitude around her changed. They were real prayers, they could be felt. 

“And when you pray, do not heap up empty phrases as the Gentiles do, for they think that they will be heard for their many words." Mathew 6:7
